One of the visions in our Town's Comprehensive Plan is
"That the senior citizens of the Township may
continue to live here in a manner which they find harmonious"
It's up to all of us to help make this happen.
Enhanced awareness, services and infrastructure can allow for
aging in place and help maintain quality of life for the Town’s senior population.

Middlefield Comprehensive Plan Meetings
The comprehensive plan is the culmination of a planning process that establishes
the official land use policy of a community and presents goals and a vision for the
future that guides official decision making. The comprehensive plan includes a
thorough analysis of current data showing land development trends and issues,
community resources, and community needs, desires, and concerns as
expressed through public comment.
The Town of Middlefield has finished the review
and revision of our Comprehensive Plan.
The Town's comprehensive plan is a written document that identifies
the goals, policies, and strategies for the community.
The plan may include guidelines for utilities and infrastructure improvements,
economic development, land uses, and government services.
The updated plan attempts to answer 3 questions:
1) What are the current conditions of the town?
2) What do we want for the future of our town?
3) How can we get to that future?
Because this Comprehensive Plan is the basis of all laws and actions by the town's government,
the updated Plan should represent the goals of everyone with a stake in the town's future.
