The Town of Middlefield is currently working on a review
and revision of our Comprehensive Plan.
The Town's comprehensive plan is a written document that identifies
the goals, policies, and strategies for the community.
The plan may include guidelines for utilities and infrastructure improvements,
economic development, land uses, and government services.
The updated plan attempts to answer 3 questions:
1) What are the current conditions of the town?
2) What do we want for the future of our town?
3) How can we get to that future?
Because this Comprehensive Plan is the basis of all laws and actions by the town's government,
the updated Plan should represent the goals of everyone with a stake in the town's future.
To help this happen, the process will involve sending a survey
to all residents and property owners in the town.
There will be a series of monthly public meetings
focused on reviewing and adding information as needed.
